We can supply a wide range of plant protection products which can be collected or delivered to your farm.

We have the technical and product knowledge to provide you with truly independent, professional advice on a range of products. We provide agronomy advice and recommendations as part of our chemical supply service.

Where products are supplied by us as part of our contract spraying service then then we apply and charge for the exact amount of product used and take away all containers for disposal, leaving no mess. The benefits are –

  • no excess pesticides left on your farm which may end up becoming redundant, out of date or illegal
  • no requirement to have a secure, bunded chemical store
  • no disposal of plastic/cardboard waste to deal with
  • charged only for chemical applied rather then full cans

A satisfactory annual inspection of our premises enables BASIS to issue a Certificate of Registration which is recognised by the Government under the statutory Code of Practice for Suppliers of Pesticides to Agriculture, Horticulture and Forestry (Yellow Code) and under the Sustainable Use Directive as an indication that standards are being maintained in respect of storage and certification of staff competence.

Safe Use of Professional Products. Please note, it is an offence to purchase pesticides authorised for professional use unless the intended end user holds the relevant certificate(s). All operators must be trained and certified in the use of professional products and used in line with the Approved Code of Practice.
